The United Methodist Children's Home Child Residential Center (CRC) is licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services to serve boys and girls ages 10 through 21 years of age. Most children in Residential Treatment have been victims of multiple forms of abuse and neglect, have dysfunctional family backgrounds, and have not been able to be safely maintained in a community setting. Our children live in a nurturing environment that is 24 hour staff secured and receive treatment designed specifically to meet their individual emotional, physical, educational and spiritual needs.

The United Methodist Children's Home Residential Center is committed to providing children a safe environment in which they can address difficult histories and issues, heal emotionally and learn to utilize strengths and abilities to be able to become a productive member of a family. UMCH believes in empowering children to make their own decisions while supporting them in accepting responsibility for their decisions as well as recognizing them for their accomplishments and achievement. The Residential Treatment Center strives to create new memories that will give them confidence to continue growing in the many positive aspects of their lives. Treatment Foster Care & Adoption

The United Methodist Children's Home Treatment Foster Care (TFC) & Adoption program is licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services to provide treatment foster care and adoption services to boys and girls ages 0 through 18 years of age. UMCH recruits, trains, and assists families to provide therapeutic homes for abused and neglect children. Many of the children have emotional and behavioral issues resulting from abuse and neglect. UMCH provides outpatient and in-home mental health services to address the child's and family's needs. If children are in the adoption track, UMCH strives to prepare children for the transition to a permanent home. Many times this results in the foster family adopting the child.
